PHILOSOPHICAL AND HUMANISTIC FOUNDATIONS OF CIVILISATION IN THE WORKS OF ABU HAYYAN AL-TAWHIDI

Abstract

This article continues the series of publications devoted to the consideration of the civilisational approach and the essence of individual civilisations. We offer the reader a brief summary of the main provisions characterising the Persian civilisation, the uniqueness of which was later recognised by Western and Russian researchers. The uniqueness of the Persian civilisation lay in the peculiarities of the world outlook (the priority of Law over philosophy, Arabic grammar over logic), in the specificity of the attitude to man and other peoples, and in the state and social structure.
