Законодательство как средство публичной коммуникации в Поздней Римской империи в IV веке

Аннотация




В статье на основании анализа Кодекса Феодосия и нарративных источников делается вывод о высокой роли императорских конституций в осуществлении коммуникации между правителем и его подданными. При помощи законов государство формулировало видимый им миропорядок и передавало сведения о заботе правителя о римлянах.
