Abstract

The success of the corporate strategy implementation depends on a large number of factors of the internal and external environment. The study disclosed in this article is devoted to the analysis of influence of various groups of factors (financial, operational, external). The article reveals various approaches to determining the key factors of corporate strategy. The largest companies in the metallurgical, oil and gas industries with planned and process types of strategies are analyzed. Based on the methods of mathematical statistics, an analysis of the relationship between groups of factors and individual indicators of the effectiveness of company strategies is made. Differences in performance indicators and the level of influence of factors on companies with different types of strategies are given. The study is carried out taking into account the assessment of the congruence of the formally declared and implemented in practice strategies of corporations. A stronger influence of individual factors on performance indicators in a group of companies where the implemented strategy is congruent to the officially declared one has been proven.
