T HEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF APPLICATION OF DIGITAL TWINS IN ENTERPRISES

Abstract

This article examines various aspects of digital twin application at Russian enterprises from a managerial and economic perspective. It highlights current results, challenges, and development prospects. It notes that digital twin technology is becoming an important tool for ensuring the sustainability of production systems, reducing costs, and improving product quality. Particular attention is given to implementation challenges, such as the need for high-quality data, economic barriers, and the complexity of integration with existing systems. A forecast for the development of digital twin technology in the context of Industry 4.0 is also presented.
