THEOLOGY OF THE RUSSIAN NORTHERN TRADITION: PHILOSOPHICAL UNDERSTANDING

Abstract

In the arrangement of a polycentric world, the problem arises of finding a single basis for the interaction of qualitatively different worlds. The most fundamental basis of cultural identity is tradition. The article clarifies the basic concepts in understanding the phenomenon of tradition — theology, religion, theology and their dogmas, and discusses the methodology of understanding the basic postulates of the Russian Northern Tradition (PCT). It is shown that the PCT meets the criterion of completeness of understanding of the world, contains cosmogonic, cosmological, ontological, epistemological sections and is the most fundamental semantic markup of the world that made an upright person erect. The significance of the PCT theological teaching lies in the fact that it allows us to understand the global modern processes of humanity, assessing its current state and trends with an initially set state.
