Abstract

This article presents a new multidisciplinary scientific paradigm for the analysis of contemporary imperialism and the world system of humanity that goes beyond the traditional monocausal explanatory theories. It is the synergic result of the combination of eight traditional paradigms and current advanced science-models, which has its starting point in the obvious empirical fact, that humankind and its global society are subsystems of the biosphere and as such, governed by the laws of that sphere. The binary pathways of evolution that, in abstract, are available to the species — chrematistic imperialism and 21st Century Socialism — are discussed with the help of modern avantgarde science methods and insights
