SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ TRUST IN THEM

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to study the trust of students of higher educational institutions to the institutions of health and education. The level of trust among students in the system of higher education and the healthcare system in general, the administration of the university and the teaching staff of the university in particular was revealed. The proportion of students who are satisfi ed with the quality of teaching at the university, as well as the proportion of those who are satisfi ed with the quality of medical care provided in the Russian Federation, has been determined. The most signifi cant factors infl uencing the choice of a medical institution are established, where the fi rst place in terms of importance is occupied by the staff . The study is based on the results of a survey of full-time students of Chelyabinsk universities in the key to studying trust in healthcare and education institutions in Russia. The online survey platform was Google Forms. The results obtained in this work will allow us to build econometric models in further studies that allow us to fi nd statistically signifi cant factors that determine the level of trust, as well as to form a methodology for assessing the level of trust, including that applicable in the context of regions (territories).
